Emergency Tree Removal

Brush Chipping

When a storm or emergency occurs, clean up and assistance is needed almost immediately. West Branch is able to provide storm and emergency vegetation services as soon as possible to aid in recovery efforts.

Tree work is dangerous, from trimming and felling trees all the way to the chipping process. We urge our customers to let us handle all phases of any tree trimming or removal job, but we are glad to come in and finish any work that is already underway as well. Often times, we are able to chip brush with less risk, hassle and cost than it would take for a homeowner to rent and operate a chipper themselves!

Meadow Restoration

Meadows are open-land, treeless habitats dominated by herbaceous vegetation such as grasses and wildflowers. Although most of the meadows in the area are agricultural fields dominated by nonnative species, natural grassland habitat with native plant species are very important for wildlife.  We can build natural meadow habitat on your property

Eastern Cottontail Habitat

New England’s only native cottontail rabbit species is in peril. Over the past few decades, the New England cottontail has seen significant declines throughout its range, and the ongoing trend of habitat loss will further threaten the species in coming years. Fortunately, private landowners are in a position to make a significant contribution to the restoration of the species. By managing some of their land as shrublands, the required habitat for New England cottontails, landowners can provide cottontails with the food and cover

they need to survive harsh, cold winters and avoid predation.  We can build cottontail habitat on your property.
