Native Lumber Harvesting
and Sawing
Building a house or adding hardwood floors? We can help harvest, process and deliver back to you rough sawn lumber or finished flooring made from trees that grew on your property. This can be acomplished offsite by trucking the logs to our site but is best done close to where you are planning to build. No need to truck it away, mill it, stack it, reload it and truck it back to you, when we can have the portable mill come right to your site. Cut it, mill it, stack it there, right into your building. This system works great for conventional, two-by construction (2x4, 2x6 etc) as well as timber frame construction ("post and beam").
There is nothing more satisfying than building a home from trees that were once growing on your property. We believe strongly that sourcing materials closer to home is not only cost effective but healthier for the interior built environment as well as the planet as a whole.
